Good Hope, (6 miles inland from Falmouth), was among Jamaica’s largest and most prosperous Sugar Plantations, with one of the best Views on the island, from the Good Hope Great House across the magnificent Queen of Spain Valley, to the inpenetrable Cockpit Mountains.   And a beautiful network of walking trails across 2,000 acres.  Walks can take you along the fresh water Martha Brae River, where you can swim, or to find several wonderful Georgian ruins in the Orange Groves - your choice among many!  Perhaps the best Hiking Trails found on Jamaica's North Coast!
